Below is a statement made by David & Thereza on 31st July 2006, regarding the release of the new Dollar compilation CD 'The Platinum Collection'.

Hi Everybody!

Well it’s finally here after years of waiting!

We hope you are enjoying the new 'Platinum Collection' that has just been released by Warner Music and Fat Dog Productions! It’s great to finally have the majority of the Warner Brothers tracks released on CD and in remastered quality! The producers involved Alan, Dean and line producer, Kevin have done a fabulous job, well done guys! We must also thank Joe Arditti at Warner too. As for 'Dangerous Blondes' that brought back some memories!!!! Really good!

It is hoped that both Thereza and I will be doing some promotional work over the coming weeks. Obviously Thereza isn’t coming here to England as that would be very expensive, but maybe by radio you never know, so keep your ears open!

Thank you for all the wonderful support over the years for us it means so much. We can’t thank you enough. The new album is selling extremely well, which is great news, so there is a strong possibility that the guys will be back to do both 'The Dollar Album' and 'The Paris Collection' as the special editions that they originally wanted to do sometime real soon.

God is it really nearly 30 years since we formed! Here’s to another 30!
