Thereza's solo album 'The Big Kiss' was released in the UK and other parts of Europe in 1985 on MCA records, and was produced by legendary producer Arif Mardin. It was also released in Argentina under the title 'El Gran Beso'. Eight out of the ten tracks were co-written by Thereza herself with various other songwriters. The album also includes a solo version of 'Give Me Back My Heart'. Both the album and the two singles released from it didn't chart very well, which is a real shame because this is a superb album containing some brilliant pop songs. The lack of promotion and record company trouble prior to the album's release must surely have played a major part in the lack of success. Thereza did appear on a few TV shows in the UK and around Europe including a performance of 'Traitor Of The Heart' on The Little and Large Show, but the track was never released as a single. |

Artist: Paparazzi Thereza produced two singles and an album for the group Paparazzi in 1983/84. I have never seen a copy of the album, 'Cold In A Warm Climate' so I don't have a lot of information on it. Both singles were released on 12" and feature extended versions. The b-side to the first 12" single 'Stop' features the track 'Love Motions' which was also produced by Thereza. |
